In my friends shop we've he's had jammed cables from the Teflon coming off, you're better off just using Shimano SP41 outers and nice smooth cables, I usually use Shimano or Fatspanner cables.

I use uberbike inner and outers but bought them on their own rather than the pack as its cheaper and I already have all the bits and bobs to attach to the cables. I find them better than the standard sp41 stuff.

I find all Inners much of a muchness. More importantly is running a full length outer and some kind of heat shrink or similar where the outer goes into the rear mech.

I tend to buy a stack of standard shimano Inners and replace every few months.
