Strange one that. They made the Mine Woods look great but no filming of the top of Dumyat or much of the riding on Ben A'an.

Lovely video through.

Dumyat in Stirling is great, up down and done in two hours. You can climb 90% of the way up and it's steep and rocky in places. The mine woods are at the foot of the hill, beyond the reservoir. It has all manner of man made features that are great to play on.

Ben A'an is a wee hill by Loch Katerine. It's not the biggest but has some really rocky exposed riding, big rock chutes and drops. Theres a video on MTBcut of Joe Barnes riding it that does it justice. I'll see if I can post it.

I'd be happy showing people up there and more stuff local to the Trossachs. In my opinion its the best place to mountain bike in Scotland.

Oh, heres the Ben A'an video.

Hey guys, I filmed this. Was filmed prob around late august early Sept so wasn't too wet !

yea basically wanted some footage to mess around with as keen photographer and fancied learning little bit of video editing ! (long way to go ha)

was windy up top of dumyat so really couldnt be bothered going up, ( up there good 3 times a week at least)

Ben A'an is rather technical, rode all that could be rode with exception of larger steps on the way back down as rain blew in and was getting bit slippy

I was on the five but friends were on hardtails, so hats off to them, Joe Barnes makes it look easy as hell

Woods section was hermitage woods towards uni end of dumyat, not mines which is bridge of allan side.

Cheers

Chris

Was walking up Dumyat today, so dry. Not been up on the bike in a while so going to nail it tomorrow. Buzzing for it, looks perfect.
