It’s great to touch base and head off into the hills own your own or with mates and forgo life’s luxuries and escape the hassles. 

Although very familiar with Glenalmond and the surrounding hills having biked and walked there many times, I’d never taken a fully laden bike up and over a Munro and Corbett. The original plan was to camp on Ben Chonzie but later at night heavy rain and strong winds were due so I decided to flog myself to death taking the bike over then and camping in the Glen.
