Are you looking for specific certified sites or to wild camp?  In Scotland wildcamping is fine as you can camp pretty much anywhere.

However, FC are i gerested in a few trails being maintained and such. I dont know if this could be a downfall and end up in the trails being made much easier or if they are willing to come and go…[Read more]

Jeezo, that’s a worry. Like Phil said, there’s been tales of big cats in Fife for yonks. Urban myth for me – even when my mate was interviewed for the Daily Record, having seen the ‘Balbirnie beast’ on the gowf coorse as he was cutting the greens. Bit more wary now having seen your photo. Maybe need to work on my speed me…

My reverb started dropping about 1/2″ sent it back and got a new one in place. The new one which is 6 months old is doing the exact same. Few friends doing the same. Bloody annoyi g but cant justify the price of a fox.

  • Thanks. it does look old, it was a freebie to see if i liked it, could see me using it a fair bit with the weather we have been getting of late. I went out today for a wee bit up the Lomond hills, Fitness let me down big time.

A bit of a change in direction. I never listen to music on the trails as I just enjoy the peace and sounds of nature, but if I am driving to a ride, that’s a different matter. I am partial to getting the right soundtrack cranked up for the journey so I am in the right frame of mind for what’s ahead.

  • Fadgadgets sma glen to loch tay is brilliant. Done it twice now. Only down wide is the climb back from loch tay is a bit of a bugger. However we die it surprisingly quicker than we thought and shaved off 20 minutes from the journey out.

Sorry to hijack your post but does anyone know of a decent set of cycling waterproofs. Oil skin type stuff makes you sweat like a pig and the cheapo things rip as soon as you look at them. Mostly for commuting to work and to keep in my bag for long runs. Cheers
